Our Mission
At Café & Kilómetros, our mission is to empower Colombian coffee producers by ensuring fair trade practices, reinvesting profits into their communities, and sharing their stories with the world. Through every cup of coffee, we aim to bridge the gap between tradition, sustainability, and personal passion—one kilometer at a time.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every sip of coffee tells a story—one of dedication, resilience, and purpose. Café & Kilómetros strives to create a sustainable ecosystem where coffee farmers thrive, consumers connect with the origin of their coffee, and every mile traveled leaves a positive impact on both people and the planet.

Meet Our Entrepreneurs
Andres Narvaez is an entrepreneur from Tuluá, Valle de Cauca, Colombia. He works with local coffee producers and the National Learning Service in Colombia to create his own brand of coffee which he sells at his brick and morder store in Tuluá.
Andrés has been our friend and mentor throughout the creation of Café y Kilómetros. He is a trusted advisor when it comes to local business advice and has helped us make so many important connections to get us started. Andrés pushes us to take risks and is always looking for ways to collaborate with other local brands because he knows that connection and mutual interests are what drives community impact.

Meet Our Founders
Café y Kilómetros was created by Sonia Marie — a Colombian-born, Boston-raised, 8-time marathon runner and community advocate — to unite her love for coffee and running as tools for connection and change. After witnessing the stark inequalities in the coffee industry, Sonia launched the project to directly support origin communities. We reinvest in rural Colombia through initiatives led by women, youth, and Indigenous leaders, while also working to improve conditions for coffee pickers. Today, we’re building sustainable partnerships to expand our impact — step by step, bean by bean.
